Arms: (Make 2)
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in second ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2-6: Sc aroundFasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff arms.

Legs (Make 2):
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in sec ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2-4: Sc around
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff leg.

Bow:
Ch 8
Rnd 1: Sc in second ch from hook, ch 1, turn.
Rnd 2-6: Sc across, ch 1, turn.
Fasten off on last sc row, leave long tail for sewing.

To Form Bow:
1. Weave in short piece of yarn (where ch was started) to center;
2. Weave in long tail to center;

3. Pinch center and wrap long tail around several times (5 times);4. Thread through blunt needle and secure by running under the wrapped part, bringing it out; secure firmly.

Gown:
1.With Maroon Yarn, insert crochet hook in sc on top of body and pull yarn through to form a loop, secure;

2. Sc around top of body through each sc, inserting hook directly through sc on body = approximately
10 sc

3. Work 2 sc in ea sc = 20 sc

4. *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 30 sc

5. At this point, HDC in ea sc around for 8 rnds, or until gown reaches bottom of body base.
Fasten off, weave in yarn.
NOTE: Count for gown is approximate – if you have a few less or a few more stitches in the gown, it is ok. Continue crocheting until gown reaches bottom of base.

6. Use a toothbrush and brush the gown gently – go up and down then side to side. This will give her gown a fuzzy appearance. The more you brush, the fuzzier the yarn. Patons Lacette is a mohair blend yarn – brushing will make the yarn appearance fuzzy.

To Make Wings:
NOTE: Because Patons Lacette is a light fingering yarn, crochet the wings holding 2 strands together. This will give the wings substance.
Rnd 1: Ch 2
Rnd 2: Work 5 sc in sec ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 3: Work 2 sc in ea sc around = 10 sc
Rnd 4: Sc in ea of the next 7 sc, ch 1, turn
At this point, you will be crocheting back and forth, not in the round.
Rnd 5-9: Sc across, ch 1, turn. Do not ch 1 at end of last row.
Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing.

To Form Halo:
1. Measure 4” and cut silver tinsel pipe cleaner. Fold the pipe cleaner to form an “L” shape (one end will measure 1-1/2”).

2. Form the long end into a circle with a slight overlap.

3. Wrap the overlap end of circle around once to secure.

To Form Magic Wand:
1. Measure 7” and cut silver pipe cleaner.
2. Curl the tip into a continuous circle 10 turns.
3. Bring bottom end of wand and weave through last circle by inserting into the circle and pulling out through the back.
4. This will secure the circle and prevent it from uncurling.

To Assemble:
1. Attach head to body.
2. Attach arms, just below head.
3. Attach legs.
4. Attach bow.
5. Insert halo in center of head – apply a small amount of glue to tip of halo before inserting in head.
6. Insert wand into hand.
7. Attach wings.
8. Using pink embroidery floss, sew nose.

Your Amigurumi Fairy Kitty is finished! (Make a wish!)

Doll measures 4-1/4” Tall.

Happy Crocheting!
