Christmas Kitty

It seems as soon as Halloween comes and goes, it is Christmas! Is it me, or does it just seem faster each year?

Here is my newest addition to my Amigurumi Kitty set - a Christmas Kitty. I wanted to share this pattern with you early to give you ample time to make a bunch up for Xmas gifts or stocking stuffers. I hope you enjoy this pattern. Happy Crocheting!

3. Gown is crocheted directly on the body. (See tutorial on this blog for crocheting the gown)

Head:

Join White Fun Fur

Insert crochet hook in tip of hat, join White Fun Fur. Make 3 sc on top of hat, fasten off.
Weave in yarn.
To shape tip of hat, gently push the end of your crochet hook to give the tip a slight point. Be careful not to poke a hole through the tip of the hat. Curve the tip slightly. Lightly stuff the base of the hat just to tip (do not stuff the tip of the hat). Sew hat onto head.

Body:

I'm playing invisible friend with a group of weavers and I have to look for ideas to give something to my invisible friend, maybe this is a good idea, if I may of course. when I decide, you will be the first to know!

Thank you for the free patterns, I love them.

I collect small toy patterns so I can make items for my local hospital lab. They give them to the children when they come in for blood work along with finger puppets the local seniors make. The small patterns work up quite quickly and it is easy to bring in a few items at a time. thanks again.

I got the idea to help a couple of years ago when my little daughter had one bad visit and they gave her a hand knit doll. They said it was rare to get actual toys so they save them for the children who are scared the most. Currently I am trying to find an easy to make dragon.
